The Multicultural Studies club's purpose is to expose our members to a multitude of cultures and to make them aware and acception of different cultural differences.
Objectives:
- Act as a educative force;
- Promote and build citizenship;
- Provide leadership training;
- Act as a motivational stepping stone for building school and community pride;
- To build and enhance self esteem;
- To encourage respect for self and others;
- To develop desirable character and personality traits;
- To encourage independance related to thinking, speaking, and acting;
- To encourage demonstation of desirable qualities which will minimize school related problems;
- To provide positive role models through speakers, activities, and feild trips;

- Fundraiser at CHS Home gamse
- Connection day (ASU)
- Nursing home visiting
- Canned food drive
- Christmas cards to soldiers
- Christmas party
- MLK birthday - attend breakfast and rally downtown
- Cultural awareness months: Hispanic, Black history month, Womens history month
- Diversity awareness video at Carroll High School
- BBQ Plate sale
- Guest speakers during club meetings
- End of the year trip
