Discipline and Dedication

About the Color Guard

The Carroll High School Color Guard are among the most prestige’s teams on campus. These are the teams that can be seen at events such as football games, basketball games, community events, and other special events. These exceptional cadets are more disciplined than any other cadets in the battalion. They are held to a higher standard of excellence than other cadets. These teams compete in three competitions each year, one at the local, regional, and state level. The competitions are very competitive with over 50 schools competing against each other in inspection and performance phases.

These cadets are held to a high standard in the classroom as well. In order to be eligible to be on the team, cadets must pass all classes at all times throughout the year. If they do not maintain a passing average in all classes, they are put on probation until either their grades improve, or they are removed from the team for the remainder of the year.
