TITLE: Director of Child Nutrition Program/Student Services
QUALIFICATIONS: School or District Administrative experience preferred
Minimum Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision
Must hold or be willing to obtain required Child Nutrition Certification
Experience managing multiple revenue flows in a single budget
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES:
Knowledge of research, current trends and best practices in curriculum and instruction. Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and policies. Exemplary written communication skills. Competency in subject areas of responsibility. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize activities. Knowledge of all management skills and techniques related to the position. Knowledge of finances and accounting and the ability to understand and plan accounting procedures. Ability to communicate and work with a diverse group of individuals. Ability to drive or travel between sites. Ability to demonstrate computer expertise and knowledge of appropriate software. Ability to organize and administer a food service program to system schools that provides for the nutritional needs of all students, meets all federal, state and system standards, and operates on a self-supporting basis.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2010-2011 School year - 12 months
SALARY RANGE: $50,408 – $79,550 depending on degree and experience
