Mr. Charlie Harper is the Chariman, President & CEO of The Commercial Bank of Ozark and has been at the bank since 1976. He is married to the former Clementine (Tina) Brown. They have three children who attended Ozark City Schools: Chris, Charles and Kathryne. All three work with Charlie at the bank.
Mr. Harper graduated in 1970 from the University of Tennessee with a BS in History. He served in US Army 1971-1975 as a Captain in Field Artillery and Army Aviator. In 1980, he graduated from The Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
Mr. Harper is a Member Ozark First United Methodist Chruch where he is the Chairman of Finance Committee. He is a member of the Wallace College Foundation Board and Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is Past Chairman of The Community Bankers Association of Alabama and a Board Member.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Independent Community Bankers of America and Vice Chairman of the Lending Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of The Bankers Bank of Georgia, Atlanta,GA. Welcome to the Ozark City School Board of Education!
