Senator Jimmy Holley presents a $4,000 grant check to Mr. Terry Casey, Principal of Carroll High School, and Linda Dees, science teacher at Carroll High, for a community service grant to beautify the campus. Ms. Dees wrote and submitted the grant last spring.
Senator Holley also presented a grant check to Mrs. Sylvia Malone, Principal of D. A. Smith Middle School. DA Smith is using their portion of the funds for resurfacing the outside playsurface and purchasing additional equipment for physical education classes.
